The Milwaukee Art Museum recently expanded with a glass building on the Lake Michigan shore. The design choices make it very bird-safe. The museum building features angles in every section. Research has shown that 40 degree angles are safest for birds. The museum closes the wings [right] at night (when birds are migrating along the shoreline).
