SKYLINE REFLECTIONS

This area on the east side of Michigan Plaza is deadly for birds coming off the lake.

To the birds, the blue sky in the building must offer a way out of the urban jungle.

For birds in the trees by this building along the Chicago River, that blue stripe must appear to be the escape route.

Quite often the blue of a sky reflection is much more prominent than the real sky.

Birds in the trees around this building on East Randolph are deceived by the reflected skyline.
